In Hiding


In seventh grade Language Arts, we read "Anne Frank: Diary of a Young Girl."

Anne Frank was a young Jewish girl who lived during the reign of Adolf Hitler. To avoid being captured by the Nazis, she and her family hid in an attic in Amsterdam. Anne Frank kept a diary of her life, and she continued writing in it when she went into hiding.

Rosarian Academy seventh grade student, Isabella V., shared her thoughts about the novel with our blog team.

Isabella: I like how she tells the world how it is, and I don't like how she always talks about boys and is boy crazy.

Isabella: A war is going on at the time.
