For this week's issue, I am making a healthy and nutritious Acai bowl.
The Acai bowl has a lot of key nutrients and a good source of energy for breakfast or just a quick snack.
For this Acai bowl you will need to make two parts: one part smoothie; the other garnish.
Ingredients for smoothie:
-1/2 cup of blueberries
-1/2 strawberries (or other mixed fruits best when frozen)
-And 1-2 frozen Acai packets
Ingredients for garnish:
-Granola
-Blueberries
-Strawberries
-Bananas
-Seeds or nuts
All you have to do is mix the ingredients for the smoothie in the blender. Pour it into any bowl or container. And arrange all the garnish ingredients (sliced) on top of the smoothie and make it in any pattern you want. If you would like the smoothie to be thicker so that the fruit can sit on top, just add ice or frozen fruit to thicken the drink.
